Once, handling clay prayerfully, a Mezuzah emerged. I discovered that creating spiritual objects lightens my own darkness. 

I created Shabbos Lights(left) for the Taos Jewish Center, based on a papern shnit, Polish paper cutting, a folk art common in Eastern European shtetls in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Since making that piece, I've made numerous wall hangings based on Judaic images.
