Sangre de Cristo, a mural of the mountains overlooking Santa Fe, NM

"Sangre de Cristo" is a bas-relief mosaic tile mural created for a swimming pool retaining wall. It measures 14 inches high by 109 inches long. Tiles vary in thickness from 5/16" to 1/2". As the water flows over the top rim, it cascades over the face of the mosaic, the water's dispersion is affected by the thick and thin tiles. (See detail of a pool corner, before and after mosaic installation.)

This residence was featured in the "2000 Parade of Homes," sponsored by the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association.
