"Serape" is a wall hanging, loosely based on a pre-1860 blanket woven in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Italian glass tessera augment the handmade ceramic pieces; the edges are extruded ceramic. The entire piece is masticked to a furniture-grade birch plywood substrate, appropriate for interior display. The wall hanging measures 28" x 18" and weighs 14 pounds.
