Mosaic Paintings

I approach mosaic wall art like a plein air painter -- with color, line, texture, and inner vision. But ceramics also allows me to create durable art that can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, hung or installed.

My landscape are based on my rambles close to home in northern New Mexico, where I hike, draw, photograph, and observe nature. I've also begun creating mosaics from life drawings of the human figure. Shown here are mosaics currently available.
